17 year old Ashleigh Hall met a stranger on Facebook and after months of talking she agreed to meet the stranger. She told her mom she was going to her friends house to sleep over and instead went to meet the strange. The stranger kidnapped Ashleigh then raped her and the killed her and then dumped her body in a near by field. The murderer Peter Chapman admitted to his doings and was sentenced to life in prison and would have to serve at least 35 years.
When I read this article I was shocked how a person could do such a thing to a child. I feel as if this could of been prevented if Ashleigh would have been more cautious about who she talks to online and if she would of known never meet someone that you don't know.
